FALMOUTH CAKE SHED
A small-batch weekend bakery between Falmouth and
Budock Water, open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
About the Cake Shed
What started as a Sunday afternoon scroll through Instagram after a wedding set up somehow turned into a hand-painted little cake shed tucked beside my edible flower garden between Falmouth and Budock Water.
The shed is stocked each weekend with a changing menu of small-batch bakes, from cakes and brownies to tarts, cookies, biscuits and seasonal treats. Some favourites will return regularly, while others will change with the seasons and whatever I happen to feel inspired to bake that week.
Everything is made by me in small batches using the same thoughtful approach I bring to my wedding cakes — proper ingredients, balanced flavours, and bakes designed to taste just as good as they look.
The Cake Shed is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a changing menu of freshly baked treats each weekend. Everything is made in small batches, so some bakes may sell out as the weekend goes on.
Pre-Orders & Payments
The Cake Shed works as an honesty-box style weekend bakery, with both cash and card payments available. Simply choose what you'd like from the shed and pay by cash or using the card machine.
If you'd prefer to guarantee your favourites before they sell out, selected bakes can be pre-ordered online during the week for collection from the Cake Shed. The menu changes regularly and is shared here and on social media.
If you need any help while you're here, just ring the doorbell inside the Cake Shed and I'll come out to help.

Visiting the Shed
You'll find the Cake Shed tucked between Falmouth and Budock Water, outside my house at 17 Azenor Avenue, Falmouth, TR11 4FS. We're on the estate off Bickland Water Road, near St Francis Primary School and just around the corner from Budock Water Church.
Look out for the blue Red Robin Pantry Cake Shed, hand-painted with wildflowers, on the drive beside the edible flower garden. If driving, please park on the parking bays in line with the shed in the middle. Those either side belong to my neighbours. If you need me, just ring the doorbell inside the shed. There may be spaniels in the garden, they are friendly, just like to have a bark at visitors. Please don't open the gates if you need help, they are little escape artists. I'll come to you if you need help or answer the bell on my phone.
