How to care for your cake on collection
-
Your cake will be chilled prior to collection. If you will be travelling with your cake again after collection, we recommend chilling the cake until this time. Please chill your cake if it has fruit on it, if not consuming the same day.
-
Cakes should be kept flat during transport. If driving, please place your cake in the boot of your car, this is by far the safest place for it. Failing this the footwell by the passenger seat. If you place your cake on the seat or hold it during travel we cannot be held responsible for your cake not arriving in one piece.
-
In hot weather, you may need to refrigerate your cake after collection. During the summer every effort is made to make your cake more heat stable. Your cake is iced in buttercream or ganache, however, and chocolate and butter will melt in hot weather.
-
If your cake has a long journey please inform us when booking. This will need to be taken into account when designing your cake.
-
Finally, buttercream cakes can be fragile so please take care when handling them. We want your cake to be as beautiful when it reaches it's final destination as it was when you collected it from us here at Red Robin Pantry.
COMING SPRING/SUMMER 22
The Red Robin Pantry Pâtisserie. It took us a little longer than we had hoped to find the perfect spot for our pâtisserie and chocolate shop, but finally work begins this spring to bring our delicious cakes, pastries, desserts and chocolates to Falmouth high street.

You will be able to peruse our new shop and pick up your favourite loaded chocolate bars, gourmet marshmallows, clotted cream truffles & marzipans and our hugely popular hot chocolate truffle bombs. We'll be expanding our range of chocolates and sweets. We'll be adding handmade biscuits, preserves, desserts, pastries, macarons, meringues and much more alongside our signature cakes that we make for wedding & celebration cakes!
COMING SPRING 22

Why not stop by and visit our café this summer just next door to our up and coming Falmouth patisserie in the heart of the Town.

Serving locally and sustainably sourced food all day, including a vegan & vegetarian menu. Join us for a morning croissant and freshly ground Cornish roasted coffee; freshly baked ciabatta sandwiches or fougasse & sharing boards. Our signature hot chocolate experiences are like nothing else you'll find in Falmouth and make an indulgent afternoon treat, and if you love an afternoon tea, you will adore our chocolate lovers afternoon tea selection. Or just keep it simple with a pot of loose leaf tea and our buttermilk scones.

Initially we will only open in the evening for drinks, cocktails and sharing boards. However, following the opening of our new patisserie, the restaurant will be opening fully in the evening as well. So watch this space!

Our café welcomes families and dogs, particularly if they pay special attention to Colin the resident Red Robin Café spaniel, who is rather fond of a belly tickle.
