How to care for your cake on collection

Your cake will be chilled prior to collection. If you will be travelling with your cake again after collection, we recommend chilling the cake until this time. Please chill your cake if it has fruit on it, if not consuming the same day.

Cakes should be kept flat during transport. If driving, please place your cake in the boot of your car, this is by far the safest place for it. Failing this the footwell by the passenger seat. If you place your cake on the seat or hold it during travel we cannot be held responsible for your cake not arriving in one piece.

In hot weather, you may need to refrigerate your cake after collection. During the summer every effort is made to make your cake more heat stable. Your cake is iced in buttercream or ganache, however, and chocolate and butter will melt in hot weather.

If your cake has a long journey please inform us when booking. This will need to be taken into account when designing your cake.

Finally, buttercream cakes can be fragile so please take care when handling them. We want your cake to be as beautiful when it reaches it's final destination as it was when you collected it from us here at Red Robin Pantry.

Product Information
Ordering a wedding cake and need to cater to other diets too. You can add on cupcakes on to an existing wedding cake order in any of the three flavours we offer for budget cakes. Vanilla & Raspberry with raspberry conserve and vanilla Italian meringue buttercream. Ivory buttercream. Lemon Drizzle with lemon curd and vanilla Italian meringue buttercream. Pale yellow buttercream. Indulgent Chocolate with chocolate Italian meringue buttercream. Chocolate buttercream colour. All cupcakes are decorated simply with a piped rosette of buttercream on top, and come in white and gold rim luxury cupcake cases. Please note: all cakes are baked in a kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat (gluten) and other allergens. Every effort is made to minimise cross contamination, however those with severe allergies cannot be catered for. All vegan cakes contain: WHEAT (GLUTEN) & SOY All cakes made without Dairy contain: EGGS, WHEAT (GLUTEN) & SOY All cakes made without Eggs contain: DAIRY, WHEAT (GLUTEN), SOY (CHOCOLATE ONLY) All cakes made without gluten contain: EGGS, DAIRY, NUTS (ALMONDS), SOY (CHOCOLATE ONLY) Please note we cannot make vegan and gluten free cupcakes. They do not work. You can request that gluten free cupcakes contain no dairy however when booking. But we need eggs in these cakes for the structure.
Cancellation Policy
All wedding cake online orders are paid for at the point of ordering. All wedding cakes are delivered by us, we do not offer collection. For online wedding cakes orders we allow free cancellation within the first two weeks of booking so long as the wedding is not within 3 weeks. Up to 90 days prior to the wedding we will refund minus an £100 deposit to cover us for loss of business. Cancellations within 6 weeks of the wedding will not be refunded. We may still be able to reschedule after this time depending on our availability, please email info@redrobinpantry.co.uk. Please note if you are booking a wedding cake outside of Cornwall please email us to confirm your venue and date prior to booking.
