How to care for your cake on collection

Your cake will be chilled prior to collection. If you will be travelling with your cake again after collection, we recommend chilling the cake until this time. Please chill your cake if it has fruit on it, if not consuming the same day.

Cakes should be kept flat during transport. If driving, please place your cake in the boot of your car, this is by far the safest place for it. Failing this the footwell by the passenger seat. If you place your cake on the seat or hold it during travel we cannot be held responsible for your cake not arriving in one piece.

In hot weather, you may need to refrigerate your cake after collection. During the summer every effort is made to make your cake more heat stable. Your cake is iced in buttercream or ganache, however, and chocolate and butter will melt in hot weather.

If your cake has a long journey please inform us when booking. This will need to be taken into account when designing your cake.

Finally, buttercream cakes can be fragile so please take care when handling them. We want your cake to be as beautiful when it reaches it's final destination as it was when you collected it from us here at Red Robin Pantry.

DARK CHOCOLATE CLOTTED CREAM
With 58% Belgian dark chocolate, Cornish clotted cream & madagascan vanilla dipped in dark chocolate and dusted with cocoa.

ORANGE & EARL GREY DARK CHOCOLATE
A dark chocolate clotted cream truffle infused with earl grey tea and orange zest. Dipped in dark chocolate and dusted with copper edible lustre dust.

Ingredients: Organic Fair Trade Belgian dark chocolate (minimum 58% cocoa solids - sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, natural vanilla), clotted cream (milk), glycerine, sorbitol, glucose, invert sugar, earl grey tea, orange, Cornish sea salt, edible gold paint (E171, E172, modified starch emulsifier, acidity regulator E330, preservative E202).

SEAWEED, BLACK PEPPER & CORNISH SEA SALT DARK CHOCOLATE
I was challenged to use seaweed in one of my chocolate creations, so I decided to trial this seaweed, black pepper and sea salt, it was so popular that it became a keeper. With 72% & 58% dark chocolate, Cornish sea salt, seaweed and of course clotted cream too, dipped in dark chocolate and sprinkled with seaweed flakes.

BLACK FOREST DARK CHOCOLATE
NEW THIS SEASON - with a cherry brandy and dark cherry truffle filling, dipped in 58% dark chocolate and decorated with sliced dried sour cherries. ​

SEA SALT PEANUT BUTTER MILK CHOCOLATE
Peanut butter and chocolate! What could be better? A milk chocolate truffle with Cornish sea salt and peanut butter, dipped in milk chocolate and topped with a toasted salted peanut.

With Belgian white chocolate, Cornish clotted cream & madagascan vanilla dipped in white chocolate and dusted with icing sugar.

FLAT WHITE - WHITE CHOCOLATE
We use a light & fruity Colombian coffee which we brew in the clotted cream before adding Madagascan vanilla to these flat white truffle centres. Dipped in white chocolate and finished with a single coffee bean.

An almond and Amaretto liqueur white chocolate truffle, dipped in white chocolate and topped with a slice of toasted almond.
