How to care for your cake on collection

Your cake will be chilled prior to collection. If you will be travelling with your cake again after collection, we recommend chilling the cake until this time. Please chill your cake if it has fruit on it, if not consuming the same day.

Cakes should be kept flat during transport. If driving, please place your cake in the boot of your car, this is by far the safest place for it. Failing this the footwell by the passenger seat. If you place your cake on the seat or hold it during travel we cannot be held responsible for your cake not arriving in one piece.

In hot weather, you may need to refrigerate your cake after collection. During the summer every effort is made to make your cake more heat stable. Your cake is iced in buttercream or ganache, however, and chocolate and butter will melt in hot weather.

If your cake has a long journey please inform us when booking. This will need to be taken into account when designing your cake.

Finally, buttercream cakes can be fragile so please take care when handling them. We want your cake to be as beautiful when it reaches it's final destination as it was when you collected it from us here at Red Robin Pantry.

About the Cake Shed
What started as a Sunday afternoon scroll through Instagram after a wedding set up somehow turned into a hand-painted little cake shed tucked beside my edible flower garden between Falmouth and Budock Water.
The shed is stocked each weekend with a changing menu of small-batch bakes, from cakes and brownies to tarts, cookies, biscuits and seasonal treats. Some favourites will return regularly, while others will change with the seasons and whatever I happen to feel inspired to bake that week.
Everything is made by me in small batches using the same thoughtful approach I bring to my wedding cakes — proper ingredients, balanced flavours, and bakes designed to taste just as good as they look.
The shed is open Fridays to Sundays from June onwards, with fresh bakes added throughout the weekend until sold out.
Pre-Orders & Payments
The Cake Shed works mainly as an honesty-box style weekend bakery, with both cash and card payments available.
If you’d prefer to guarantee your favourites before they sell out, you’ll also be able to pre-order selected bakes online during the week for collection from the shed each weekend. Weekly menus and available items will be updated here and shared on social media throughout the week, I hope to post the weeks menu every Monday.
Card payments can be made online in advance or at collection through the online shop. In person you can scan the QR code which will bring you to the online shop to put through your order and make payment.

Visiting the Shed
You’ll find the Cake Shed tucked between Falmouth and Budock Water, outside my house at 17 Azenor Avenue, TR11 4FS. This is the new estate off of Bickland Water Rd, nr St Francis Primary School, and just round the corner from Budock Water church. You'll find the shed on my drive next to the edible flower garden. I do ask that you do not open the gates into the garden. You'll find the painted blue Red Robin Pantry Shed here, she's all painted with wild flowers, and in sunny weather, you'll find her under a gazebo.

As everything is baked in small batches, some items may sell out over the course of the weekend — though new bakes may occasionally appear along the way too.

Cake Bars
Serves 1-2. Perfect to share or enjoy all to yourself! All cake bars are topped with our silky smooth Italian meringue buttercream, whipped ganache or French buttercream. Flavours are updated weekly.
Strawberry, Elderflower & Rhubarb
A classic Madagascan vanilla sponge with an elderflower drizzle, filled with a strawberry & rhubarb conserve and topped with a vanilla Italian meringue buttercream and more conserve; and finished with freeze dried strawberries and white chocolate curls.

Tiramisu Cake Bar
A buttery coffee sponge with espresso drizzle, topped with a Kahlúa French buttercream and finally dusted with cocoa and Belgian dark chocolate curls.

Carrot & Walnut Cake Bar
My classic spiced carrot cake with orange zest, sultanas and walnuts, topped with cinnamon Italian meringue buttercream, walnut pieces and orange zest.

Brownies, Blondies and Traybakes
Serves 1-2. Our jumbo brownie and blondies are all made with Belgian chocolate and the best quality ingredients. Flavours change every week, they are perfect for chocolate lovers to share or enjoy all to themselves. We sometimes have other tray bakes, so check in to see what we have each week.
Classic Triple Chocolate Brownie
Our classic indulgent Belgian dark chocolate brownie, rich, gooey and simply flavoured with madagascan vanilla, and baked with chunks of dark, milk and white Belgian chocolate. Because why break what isn't broken! The perfect treat for those who love chocolate.

Our classic Belgian dark chocolate brownie, rich, gooey baked with fresh raspberries and more milk and dark chocolate buttons, topped with a raspberry ganache, and dried raspberries.

Triple Chocolate Millionaire Marshmallow Shortbread
For those who loved our teacakes!! A layer of our buttery chocolate shortbread, topped with our Cornish sea salt caramel and chocolate marshmallow (just how we make them for teacakes and our jumbo marshmallows that are so popular), finally topped with a layer of tempered Belgian milk chocolate and sprinkled with Cornish sea salt. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A DIFFERENT FLAVOUR TO OUR PREVIOUS CARAMEL SLICE WHICH HAD VANILLA MARSHMALLOW AND SHORTBREAD.

Summer Berry Marshmallow Shortbread
For those who loved our teacakes!! A layer of our buttery shortbread, topped with a summer berry compote and vanilla marshmallow (just how we make them for teacakes and our jumbo marshmallows that are so popular), finally topped with a layer of tempered Belgian milk chocolate and topped with dried raspberries.

Tarts
Serves 1-2. Our 10cm tarts start with a buttery, crisp pastry crust and a selection of fillings. They are a generous side like our cakes and brownies, so perfect for sharing, though personally I think they are too good to share!! Options change regularly. Currently all tarts are ambient and do not need refrigeration.
Summer Berry & Lemon Tart
Crisp buttery pasty filled with a baked Parisian style lemon custard, topped with a Belgian white chocolate ganache and swirled with summer berry conserve.

Dessert Cookies
Serves 1–2. Built on one of our three signature cookies – Brown Butter Belgian Milk Chocolate, Madagascan Vanilla & White Chocolate, or Dark Chocolate – our Dessert Cookies are layered with ganache, homemade curds, conserves, caramel and other delicious fillings before being finished with carefully chosen toppings. Flavours change regularly.
Mango & Passion Fruit Dessert Cookie
This week's Dessert Cookie starts with our indulgent dark chocolate cookie, packed with Belgian milk and dark chocolate chunks, before being topped with silky Madagascan vanilla French buttercream for a rich, crème pâtissière-inspired finish. It's then crowned with a vibrant mango & passion fruit coulis and drizzled with even more Belgian milk chocolate. A decadent dessert in cookie form, perfect for sharing... if you must, but don't feel like you have to!

Perfect for kids and adults alike. Our sharing packs of cookie and biscuit fries come in a selection of flavours. Each bag contains a single flavour and two dip pots to dunk your fries into. The perfect little treat yum!!

Marshmallows Boxes
Our soft and fluffy as a cloud marshmallows that many of you may have picked up over the years from me during Christmas markets, these are available in the single flavour retail boxes. Summer flavours will be available till September. All of our marshmallows are made with pork gelatine, and are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
