How to care for your cake on collection

Your cake will be chilled prior to collection. If you will be travelling with your cake again after collection, we recommend chilling the cake until this time. Please chill your cake if it has fruit on it, if not consuming the same day.

Cakes should be kept flat during transport. If driving, please place your cake in the boot of your car, this is by far the safest place for it. Failing this the footwell by the passenger seat. If you place your cake on the seat or hold it during travel we cannot be held responsible for your cake not arriving in one piece.

In hot weather, you may need to refrigerate your cake after collection. During the summer every effort is made to make your cake more heat stable. Your cake is iced in buttercream or ganache, however, and chocolate and butter will melt in hot weather.

If your cake has a long journey please inform us when booking. This will need to be taken into account when designing your cake.

Finally, buttercream cakes can be fragile so please take care when handling them. We want your cake to be as beautiful when it reaches it's final destination as it was when you collected it from us here at Red Robin Pantry.
Doughnut Tower
Product Information
Looking for an add on for your wedding cake or perhaps an alternative to a wedding cake. Why not add a doughnut tower? Nothing will make your guests as excited as the prospect of fresh doughnuts on your wedding day! All of our doughnuts are made on the morning of your wedding so they are as fresh as can be. Prices include set up on the day and tower included. This stand must be returned following the wedding. We ask that you return the stand to us in Falmouth within one week of the wedding. An extra charge of £65 has been added to cover the value of the stand should you not return it. This is refunded back to you on the safe return of the stand. Delivery will be charged at £0.95 per mile including return from our base in Falmouth. This will be added onto your invoice at booking. Please note we only add this on once, for example if this is an add on to your wedding cake. Time of set up will be confirmed with your venue or wedding co-ordinator directly. We cannot set up the day before. Flavour Options: Standard Vanilla Glazed Rings: DAIRY, EGGS, WHEAT (GLUTEN) Filled Sugar Coated Raspberry Jam: DAIRY, EGGS, WHEAT (GLUTEN) Filled Sugar Coated Creme Patissiere (custard): DAIRY, EGGS, WHEAT (GLUTEN) If you would like to add a top tier cake. This will be a fully iced 6" with seasonal blooms on top in one of the following flavours. - Classic Vanilla with raspberry conserve and vanilla Italian meringue buttercream. - Indulgent Chocolate filled with chocolate Italian meringue buttercream. - Lemon Drizzle with lemon curd and vanilla Italian meringue buttercream. All cakes contain Dairy, eggs, wheat (gluten), soy (chocolate only). Made in a kitchen that handles nuts and other allergens. Flower packages can be added to decorate your tower, in addition to those on top of the cake. These are all seasonal edible/food safe blooms grown in our own edible flower garden. Once you have filled out the booking request you will a receive confirmation once we have confirmed availability. Once approved you will be able to pay for your order and delivery charges.
Cancellation Policy
All wedding cake online orders are paid for at the point of ordering. All wedding cakes are delivered by us, we do not offer collection. For online wedding cakes orders we allow free cancellation within the first two weeks of booking so long as the wedding is not within 3 weeks. Up to 90 days prior to the wedding we will refund minus an £100 deposit to cover us for loss of business. Cancellations within 6 weeks of the wedding will not be refunded. We may still be able to reschedule after this time depending on our availability, please email info@redrobinpantry.co.uk. Please note if you are booking a wedding cake outside of Cornwall please email us to confirm your venue and date prior to booking.
